Effective April 1, 2025, the Government of Nova Scotia decreased the provincial portion of the HST from 10% to 9%. This resulted in a reduction of the total combined HST rate from 15% to 14%.
Our calculation engine has been fully adjusted to support this change. Both our GST Calculator and HST Calculator now automatically apply the 14% rate for Nova Scotia for all 2025 and 2026 calculations.
